In this wonderful piece of marble I found a magical environment just suited for deer. The rest was sheer fun, painting the deer and bringing out the woodland. Woodland Deer sold within days of completion. Sold.
Composition fascinates me. This stone had a great pattern that suggested a red canyon with trees and a stream. Compositionally, I like the way the second cow pulls the eye back from the first cow's moo. Cows make me feel patient. Information at B & R Gallery.
On a good day a bear hardly has to reach for a salmon, there are so many working their way upstream. This piece of onyx had white water, rocky ground and clouds. Information at B & R Gallery.
"This colorful slate had plants and the reddish trees. It suggested a clearing so I added a doe and fawn ." Sold.
